It regularly undergoes voluntary quality inspections by national and international accreditation bodies: the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) for chain of custody DNA testing, the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for molecular diagnostics including paternity testing, and the NSFTC/ISO 17025 for adherence to international laboratory standards and to standards set by the FBI Director.
